He is survived by: his wife Diane Schick (Eley); his children, Angela Coolidge (Jamie) of Westminster and Derek Schick (Elisha) of Waynesfield, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Jaden Scott, Jorden Scott, Caynan Schick and Kinley Schick; his sisters, Cindy Hanover (Tim) of St. Marys and Linell Hertenstein (Jeff) of St. Marys; and his sister-in-law Linda Schick of Howell, Michigan..

Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District @ 1682 Slabtown Rd., Lima, OH 45801. Donations will be used for the purpose of planting pollinator flowers in memory of Wendell.
