He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Thomas and Felix Thomas; his siblings, Ruthie Bassett (Bob), Elsie Casey (Tim) and Evan Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Eickholt, Bill Eickholt and Joey Eickholt.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Thomas (Eickholt); his son Ned Thomas of Florida; his siblings, Robert Thomas of Lima and Evelyn Kohli of Ottawa; his in-laws, Thom Eickholt (Mary), Jerry Eickholt (Jann), Don Eickholt (Marie Anne), Ray Eickholt (Carol), Mary Ann Good (Dale), Dan Eickholt (Marcia), Frank Eickholt (Judy) and Kathy Wehri (Ed); and his close friends, Lynn and Stephanie Darbyshire.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home - Shawnee Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
