He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. McLaughlin and Edna Mae McLaughlin (Innes); his uncle Willie (Jennie Haspel); and his son-in-law Curtis Treece. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McLaughlin (Painter); his children, Barbara Starr, Julie Treece and Keith McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Parker (Edward), Michael Starr (Nicole Meeker) and Megan Starr (Kile Simpson); his great grandchildren, Boston Starr, Keigan Simpson and Emma Parker; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Rhodes, Mary Painter and Nancy Eagy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Veteran Foreign War.
