He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Nick" Nichols and Ota Nichols (Wilkins); and his granddaughter Stacy Moor-Morales. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nichols (Laeufer); his daughter Cheryl Miller (Jack); his grandchildren, Karen Wilson (Mike), Rebecca Mcwhinney (Kraig), William Christopher Nichols (Jessica) and Michael Nichols (Jacquelyn); his stepgrandchildren, Tara Cook, Tabitha Kilmer (Ray) and Chris Miller (Jana); and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Landon, Patton, Nora, Cara, Adelyn and Declan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kessler Estates or St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Elida.
