He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford J. Thayer and Florence "Tootie" Thayer (Haught); his son Cory Duke Thayer; and his brother Matt Crow. He is survived by: his wife Tris Anne Thayer (Jones); his children, Charlie Thayer (Tiffany), Allison Bardo (Tyler) and Russell Poling; his siblings, Missy Faulkner (Terry), Carl Crow (Lydia), Rick Thayer (Doris), Mike Thayer and Jeff Thayer; his sister-in-law Annette Crow; his grandchildren, Rorie Bardo, Cameron Bardo, Hunter Bardo, Nehemiah Thayer, Theadora Thayer, Mordecai Thayer, Isabella Poling, Sawyer Poling and Bristol Poling; and his caregivers, Mario Wilson and Angel Larkins.
