She was predeceased by: her parents, James Penrose and Wanda Penrose (Bokelman); her husband Arthur L. "Art" Brown, Jr.; and her granddaughter Michelle Felt. She is survived by: her son Michael Smith of Columbiana; her siblings, Martha Eckhart of North Carolina, David Penrose of Beloit and Dan Penrose of Alliance; and her stepsister Mary Dixon (Ken) of Lisbon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
