He is survived by: his wife Mona "Debbie" Barnes (Jack); his sons, Gary R. Barnes, Jr. and William H. Barnes (Lorrie); his siblings, Candace VanDyne, Jeanne Grace, Mary Kinser, Joyce Spack (James), Alice Grubbs (James), Amy Cosma (Robert) and Harold W. Barnes, Jr.; his grandchildren, Renee M. Brown (Matthew), Sara L. Barnes, Brandon Barnes (Alicia) and Ashley Barnes; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Mackenzie, Madison Brown, Colin and Deacon Barnes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home (215 W Lincoln Way, Lisbon, OH 44432). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
