She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Bowles and Clara Mae Bowles (Waggoner); her husband Clyde Lawrence McVay; her children, Wesley, John, Clyde Jr., Timothy and Rebecca; her siblings, Phyllis Baroles, Betty Flegle and Charles "Chuck" Bowles; her half-brother Junior Brown; and her granddaughter April Lynn McVay.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Ketchum of Salem, Joe McVay of Lisbon and Albert McVay of Lisbon; and her half-brother Ralph Brown of Iowa. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
