She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight LeRoy Smith and Virginia Mildred Baldwin (Jewell); her husband Plain Albert "Bert" Walter, Sr.; her daughter Karen S. Walter; and her grandsons, Kevin E. Walter, Marcus Walter and Michael Eddinger.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Eddinger, Linda Surmaceviz (Terry Sr.), Audrey Willard (Russell D.), Roberta Walter, Plain A. "Pete" (Phyllis Walter, Jr.) and Dwayne Walter (Kristen); and her siblings, David Baldwin (Aggie), Russell Baldwin (Elaina), Ronald Smith (Pat), Rickie Smith and Vickie Seacrest. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
