With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Thornhill (Lisbon, Ohio), born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Thornhill to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Kent and Iva Kent (Brewer); her husband Alva Thornhill; her siblings, Walter, Floyd, Carl, Stanley, Howard, Raymond Kent, Lillian Baker and Dorothy Baker; and her granddaughter Kristi Jo Smith.

She is survived by : her close friend Robert McDannels of Lisbon; her children, Virginia Mitchell (John Franklin) of Lisbon, April Lozier (Shannon) of Versailles, Indiana and Keith Thornhill of Florida; and her brother Bill Kent (Loretta) of Centerburg, Ohio. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
