He is survived by: his children, Sara Muschweck (Randy), Michelle McKinley (Jon), Roy J. Smith, Jr. (Carla) and Angela Smith; his grandchildren, Breara (Nick), Joseph (Ashley), Caroline (Jeff), Trinity (Eric), Preston, Jay, Brittany, Brandon, Kevin, Patricia, Sam, Chase, Caindrew, Fabian and Mireya; his siblings, Mary McPherson, Edna "Peg" Stanley (Ron), Gene Smith (Paula), Larry Smith (Carol), Jerry Smith (Shannon) and Doug Smith (Debbie); his sister-in-law Dorothy Smith; his close friend Donnie Broughton; Betty Broughton of Kenly. He is also survived by his 23 great grandchildren.
