He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Starkey and Ora Jean Starkey Sr. (Thomas); and his siblings, Edward Starkey and Diane Abel. He is survived by: his sisters, Cindy Starkey-Pitts of Sebring and Dorene Starkey-Reynolds of Lisbon; and his nieces and nephews, Tina, Laura "Sis", James Michael Abel, Stephanie Blazer (Jason), Chris Pitts (Sarah), Jamie Lynn Pitts (Rober Cross), Melinda Reynolds and Debbie Morrison. He is also survived by nephews and his great great nephew.
