He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald T. McKarns and Verona L. McKarns (Oakes); his son Mark McKarns; and his brother Earl McKarns. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Marie McKarns (Rohr); his children, Anne Marie Fraser, Susan McKarns, Teresa Feigert (Kenneth), Mary Wolfgang (Philip), Judy Fitch (Mark), Joseph McKarns, Richard McKarns (Tricia), David McKarns (Tracy), John McKarns and Steven McKarns (Jessica); his brother Father James McKarns; and his sister-in-law Nedra McKarns. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other family members; and countless friends.
