He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heberlein and Olga Elsie Heberlein (Zaft); his son David P. Heberlein Jr.; and his brother George Heberlein. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Heberlein; his children, Tammy Lippert (Jay) of Wellington, OH, Dean Heberlein, DJ Heberlein of Seville, OH and Kyle K. Ackerman of Brunswick, OH; and his sister-in-law Claudia Heberlein of Westlake, OH. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
