We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2021, at the age of 94, Betty Jane Smith of Lithopolis, Ohio, born in Fairfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Omer A. Manson and Mary Alice Manson (Carpenter); her husband Gerald Barnhart Smith; and her son Stephen Gerald Smith. She is survived by : her daughter Susan Kistler (Mick); her grandchildren, Lori Schmid (Eric), Wendy Austin (Brenton), Amy Homan (Justin), Katie Smith, Mikala Smith, Jeffrey Hunter (Christy), Scott Kistler (Karen) and Amy Shetrone (Bob); and her sisters, Mary Short and Kathryn Watkins. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130 in Betty's memory.
