He is survived by: his mother Virginia Long; his wife Michele Shaffer; and his children, Melody Chaffin (Thomas), Daniela Dyke (Chris), Clayton Shaffer and Tyler Shaffer. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
