Jerry Alan Winkler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Alan Winkler of Lodi, Ohio, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Winkler and Mary Jane Winkler (Beery); his sons, Patrick and Spencer; his siblings, Sara Steiner (James) of Sterling, Barry Winkler (Kristin) of Bettendorf, IA, Darin Winkler (Laurie) of Rittman, Rachel Mlynczak (Jacob Carmany) of Rittman, Elizabeth Winkler of Rittman and Darin Lee; and his grandparents, Alvin, Estella Winkler, Karl and Ruth Beery. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Smithville Apostolic Christian Church (8530 Fulton Rd, Sterling, OH 44276). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Smithville Apostolic Christian Church, 8530 Fulton Rd., Sterling, or to a Veteran Charity of the donor's choice.
