He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dale and Josephine Ellen Crothers (Joy); and his siblings, Larry, Jerry, Martin "Buddy" Crothers and Charlotte Simonton.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Jean Crothers (Notestone); his daughters, April (Dave) and Suzanne Valkinburg (Crothers); his grandchildren, Caleb Valkinburg (Brandy) and Autumn Langham; his stepgrandchildren, Kasey and Kylee Valkinburg; and his great grandchild Summer Langham.
