He was predeceased by: his parents, Della "Dellie" Ellis and Margaret Lena Hughes (Euler); and his sister Eunice Jurgensmier. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kathleen Hughes (Cruise); his children, Brian Hughes (Therese) of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Kathleen M. Hutchison (Chad) of Logan and Stephanie A. Rutter (Michael) of Logan; his grandchildren, Angela, Timothy Hughes, Jonah Hutchison (Alyssa), Kaleb Hutchison (Christine), Jenna, Ethan and Savanna Rutter; and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Ashley Hatmaker and Huckson Hutchison.
