It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Jane Stimmel of Logan, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Geil and Hannah Rebecca Geil (Sinift); and her siblings, Martha Geil, Emma Giffin, Ronald Geil, Harold Geil, James Geil and Charles Geil.
She is survived by: her husband Hal; her daughters, Tamara Tschudy (Gib) of Westerville, Paula Hoke (Troy) of Nelsonville and Heidi Fischer of Logan; her grandchildren, Emily Hammon (Timothy Fultz), Tessa Mellinger (Tyler), Brandon Graham (Theresa), Aaron Graham (Krystal), Laila Anderson, Estelle Anderson and Thomas Anderson; her great grandchildren, Ember, Reid Mellinger, Cooper and Layla Graham; her siblings, Florence Gross of Waverly, Donald Russell Geil (Teresa) of Lancaster, Wilma Kuhn, Betty Patton, Donna Coakley, Karolyn Brown, Peggy Gortney (Irwin) and Carl Geil; and her sister-in-law Linda Geil of Logan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
