With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Shumaker of Logan, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lowell and Dorothy Shumaker (Will). He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Chapman; his daughters, Stacey Blackmore (Keith) of Tennessee, Renee Goodrich (Adam) of Tennessee, Nicole Nestor (Steve) of Tennessee and Kara Garris (Joanna) of Tennessee; and his brother Edward Shumaker (N. C.). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
