Janice Schmitter Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Janice Schmitter of Logan, Ohio. Janice, born on September 18, 1930, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Kraft and Beulah Kraft (Carpenter); her son Robert Schmitter; and her siblings, Sue, Patricia, William, Micheal and Lloyd.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schmitter of Columbus, Ohio, Kurt Schmitter (Carla) of Columbus, Ohio, David Schmitter of Columbus, Ohio, Cheryl Stilwell (Kelley) of Logan and Lisa Schmitter of Alaska; her brother Steve Kraft (Karen); and her sister-in-law LaDonna Kraft. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (60 W Hunter St, Logan, OH 43138). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
