Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Alice Schmitter of Logan, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 99, on February 15, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Coleman and Ruth Coleman (McKibben); her husband Karl; her brother Gary Coleman; her son Karl; and her stepgrandson Matthew Keefe.
She is survived by: her sister Janice Thomas (Pat); her son Jeff Schmitter (Stephanie); her daughter-in-law Susan Schmitter (Eric Eckelkamp); her grandchildren, Kristin Schmitter-Webster (Jonathan), Allison Schmitter, Karl and Benjamin Schmitter; and her great grandchildren, Kathleen and Elizabeth Webster. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Hamilton Community Foundation for the Karl and Mary Alice Schmitter Scholarship Fund; to Carmel Manor, Ft. Thomas, KY; to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati; or to Zion Lutheran Church, Hamilton.
