She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Whisman and Lula Whisman (Skaggs); and her spouse Boone Purnell. She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Purnell of Londonderry, Donna (David Fisette), Linda Purnell of Chillicothe and Anthony; her daughter-in-law Terry Purnell of Londonderry; and her sisters, Tootsie Jenkins (Jess) of Sandy Hook, KY, Delma Simmons (Leo) of Memphis, MI and Jewell Maccagnone of McComb, MI. She is also survived by son; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
