He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McCoy and Sylvia Scarberry McCoy; and his brother Scotty McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Joshua McCoy (Kelli) of Chillicothe and Ricci Lynn Burchett (Mike) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Riley of Chillicothe, Lucas of Chillicothe and Bonnie McCoy of Chillicothe; and his siblings, Jimmy McCoy of Laurelville, Vicki Blanton of Pomeroy and Betty Lou Oliver.
