He was predeceased by: his wife Reba Dorries (Hall); his son David; his siblings, Kenneth Shaw, Junior Shaw, Michael Collins, Juanita Height, Francis Yarbaugh and Virginia Turner; his parents, Chancellor Dorries and May Dorries; and his pet Sadie.
He is survived by: his children, Neil Dorries (Bernie) of Wakeman, Ohio and Pam Bliss (Ken) of Westerville, Ohio.; and his half-brothers, Robert Collins of Bryant and Jimmy Shaw of Hot Springs, Arkansas.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
