He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald; his parents, George J. Gargasz and Elizabeth Gargasz (Nee Beko); and his brother George G. Gargasz. He is survived by: his wife Darlyene Gargasz; his grandchild Oldest; his son Bruce Gargasz (Deidre); his grandchildren, Andrea, Bryan, Dylan (Kirstynn) and Tyler; his daughter Cynthia Simo (Cory); his grandchildren, Richard "Tony", Josilyn and Youngest; his daughter Sherry Ridner (David); his grandchildren, Kayce and Layla; and his family, Al and Darlyene. He is also survived by 20 children over the years as licensed foster parents with Lorain County Children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (418 W 15th St, Lorain, OH 44052). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to either the Friendship Animal Protective League or Wounded Warriors.
