She was predeceased by : her husband Donald Bennett Sr.; her stepdaughter Patricia Jackson-Stone; her parents, Oscar L. Woods and Beulah Woods; and her siblings, Gladys Hickmon, Charles, Oscar, Adelbert, Clinto, Clayton, Eartha, Delano, Ronald and Raymond Woods.

She is survived by : her sister Ethelia Bryant; her stepchildren, Donald Bennett Jr. (Trellas), Thomas Bennett and Gary Bennett (Ishika); and her daughter Desiree Olivia Williams. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Praise Worship & Family Center (4545 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
