We announce the death of Brent J. Hodkey of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 50. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, LeRoy, Margaret Curley, Aloysius and Helen Hodkey; and his aunt Barbara Curley.

He is survived by: his parents, James Hodkey and Mary Lou Hodkey of Amherst; his sister Stacey Thompson (Kevin) of Berea; his niece Brianna Buddenhagen; his nephew Declan Buddenhagen; his aunts, Karen Curley of Lorain and Jean Bobel (Frank) of Columbus; and his uncle Dennis Hodkey (Denise) of Amherst.

Contributions in Brent's memory are encouraged to any charity of the donor's choice.
