It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora L Anderson of Lorain, Ohio, born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie L. Anderson; her son Calvin L. Douglas; her parents, Harry Thomas and Mamie Wild; her grandparents, Joseph and Edna Wild; and her grandson Wambi Davis.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shawn Algood, Anita Algood of Atlanta, GA., Dessie Cheers of Lorain, OH., Lance Cheers of Lorain, OH., Kevin Davis (Marla) of Lorain, OH. and Asrield Wright of Las Vegas, NV.; and her siblings, Billy Terry (Patricia) of Hartsville, SC., Rose Hayesworth (Michael) of Hartsville, SC., Edna Terry of Hartsville, SC. and Cherlene Ross of Darlington, SC.. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center (6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
