We bid farewell to Dennis O'Connor (Lorain, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Dennis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Marcy; his parents, Neil and Mary; and his sisters, Joann Chapla, Rita Schneider and Donna Rajher.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Sherrie) of Arlington, TX, Patti Law (Randy) of Lorain, OH and Neal (Trisha) of Avon Lake, OH; and his sister Betsy Jaworski of Vermilion, OH.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, welcomed three step-grandchildren, and enjoyed his many great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish of Lorain (418 W 16th St, Lorain, OH 44052). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (555 N Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053).
