She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Moore and Joan Moore (Scott); her daughter Samia Smith; and her brothers, Edsel Hocker and George Hocker.
She is survived by: her children, Lionel Smith Jr., Nadia Smith and Nicole Smith; her sisters, Alison Arnold and Martha LaCroix; and her caregiver Lionel Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren; and a growing legacy of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel (3001 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
