She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Gordon Freeman, Sr.; her son Paul G. Freeman, Jr.; her brother Larry Vance; and her parents, James Vance and Beatrice Vance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah McCartney (Alan) of Wakeman, Lisa Behrendt (Brad) of Perrysburg, Jennifer Jameson (Brian) of Lorain and Susan Smith (Greg) of Elyria; her grandchildren, David, Katie, Chris, Adam, Shaun, Rachel, McKayla, Emma, Brianna, Emily, Jack and Joe; her great grandchildren, Eloise, Felix, Otto, Arden and Tyler; and her sister Linda Freeman of Lorain.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
