It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Atley III of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer E. Atley II and Ethelyn A. Atley (Taborn); his uncle Roland W. Atley; and his brothers, Preston A. Blakely, Michael N. Atley and Andrew B. Blakely Sr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Myesha R. Atley of Columbus, Octavia M. Atley of Elyria and Olivia N. Atley of Columbus; his grandchildren, DeAnte J. Hooks, Darnell J. Hooks, Josiah W. Atley, Darrius J. Atley, Octavia M. Atley II and Jabir D. Jackson; and his brother Lamont Blakely. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
