He was predeceased by: his son Rino Romeo; his parents, Carlo Romeo and Maria Romeo; and his siblings, Dominic, Concetta, Rosa, Caterina, Maria and Antoinette Ricci.
He is survived by: his wife Iolanda Romeo; his sons, Carlo (Beth) and Fred (Danny); his daughter-in-law Amanda Romeo; his grandchildren, Mitchell Romeo and Cecile Donley (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Serena Romeo, Ava and Julian Donley. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Parish (3655 Oberlin Ave, Lorain, OH 44053). An entombment will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052).
