He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Rager and Lula E. Rager-Cramer; and his siblings, Larry (Dora), Richard, Clifford Rager and Connie Baughman.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Susan Rager (late Bob Dering) of North Ridgeville and Christopher Glenn Rager (Amber) of Huron; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Lucas, Marcus Rager of Huron and Caroline Dering of North Ridgeville; his sisters, Barbara Hutton (Larry) and Ann Dolansky (Dennis); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Rager and Lois Wertz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
