It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris M. Diaz of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Iris had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Iris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antolin Lopez and Filomena Lopez; and her husband Juan Diaz Burgos. She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Vazquez (Jose) and Evelyn Guzman (Pedro); and her grandchildren, Norberto Guzman, Jennifer Vazquez-Lewis (Rex), Raquel Guzman and Burgie Burgos.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists (2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
