She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon William and Jessie Lee Porter; and her brothers, Michael Porter and William Porter Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Hitchens Jr.; her children, Adrianne Porter (Tommy Jr.), Courtney Porter and Samuel Hitchens III; her grandchildren, Samantha Hitchens, Mikayla Talkington (Stephen) and Jaelon Shepherd; her great grandchild Mikah Talkington; and her siblings, Charles Porter (Tracy), Dianne Porter-Allgood (Milton), Terry Trimble, Ollie Whitfield (David) and Vickie Albright (David). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church (4125 N Leavitt Rd, Lorain, OH 44053). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
