She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Byrom Sr.; her son Carlton; her parents, Liza B. Morries and James Morries; and her siblings, Sarah, Linda and David.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Hughes (Vernon Sr.); her grandson Vernon Hughes Jr.; her sons, Christopher, Gary Jr. and Eric; her close friend Keith Robinson; her siblings' children, Appolonia Casner, Prince Casner and Spartacus Casner; and her sisters, Wonda Blount (Michael), Rhonda Morries, Faith Hairston and Brenda Franklin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center (6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
