Joan Arroyo Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Arroyo (Lorain, Ohio), who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Arroyo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Letizia and Josephine Letizia; her husband Charles Arroyo; her son David Arroyo; and her siblings, Mickey Foos, Mary Yager, Ann Beko, Molly Bratton, Josephine Letizia and James Letizia.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Arroyo (Sharon) and Dan Arroyo (Laurie); and her grandchildren, Amy Reno (Brett), Nathan Arroyo (Katrina), Samantha O'Brien (Chris), Matthew Arroyo (Olivia), Kyle Arroyo (Kim) and Abigail Rhodes (Dustin).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (1305 E Erie Ave, Lorain, OH 44052). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (555 N Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053).
Donations may be made in Joan's loving memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where she donated for many years, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105.
