Josephine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Josephine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Josephine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lindon Phillips; her children, Pamela J. Phillips and Joseph A. Phillips; her parents, August Fields and Mary Viola Fields; and her siblings, Daisy Fields, Mary Jones and Leonard Gray Fields.
She is survived by: her son Lindon G. Phillips of Elyria; and her brother Gus Fields of Richardson, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Welch Memorial Cemetery (916 N Holly St, Monterey, TN 38574).
