Kelly Ann Overly Obituary

Kelly A. Overly 60 of Lorain passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Mercy Health Lorain Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born November 30, 1964, in Fort Worth Texas to Lloyd Gillentine and Carol Twyman.

Kelly was a spectacular mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cared deeply for her family and the people that were close to her. Kelly never gave up and continued to fight through the years battling sickness after sickness. She took pride in making everyone around her happy in turn making herself happy.

Kelly is survived by her husband Robert E. Overly of Ashland, son Robert E. Overly ll of Ashland, daughter Angelique Overly of Pennsylvania; her brother Robert Vollick of Medina; sisters Sharon Allen of Florida, Kimberly Sullivan and Cheri Sullivan both of Cleveland, Lawana Gillentine- Vela of Texas, and Karen Gillentine both of Texas; and a brother David Gillentine of Texas. She also had 7 Grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents Kelly is preceded in death by her brothers Lloyd Gillentine, Daniel Gillentine, Roger Sullivan, and Jimmy Sullivan.

Her family will be having a celebration of life at a later date. Her son Robert will be coordinating that.
