Balmert of Lorain, Ohio, born in Avon Lake, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Balmert and Anna Balmert; and his siblings, Edward, Patrick, David Balmert and Barbara Pullin.

He is survived by : his sons, Kenneth Joseph Balmert Jr. (Karen) and Eric John Balmert; his grandsons, Kenneth Balmert III (Jordyn Scolaro), Robert Balmert and Phillip Balmert (Kate Uhelsky); his great grandchildren, Nellie and Summer Balmert; and his siblings, Patricia Mayer and Douglas Balmert (Cheryl).

“My condolences to Carol, Eric, Joe and family. I remember hanging out at the house and him taking me on motorcycle rides. I burned my calf on the tailpipe once and told my mom that I had burned it on one of the silver barrels that you run on that were at Columbus Park. I didn't want to get in trouble and knowing my mom, she would have drove over and had some words to offer. Always opened his door to us stragglers who hung out. Prayers to you all.
