We announce the death of Larry Cabbil (Lorain, Ohio), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cabbil and Mary Cabbil; and his sisters, Mattie Cabbil-Latham and Willie B Cabbil-Allen. He is survived by: his wife Debra Cabbil (Jackson); his daughter Virginia Cabbil of Lorain, OH.; his stepchildren, Twanda Jackson and Ryan Jackson (Savanna) of Louisville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Coiya Bethard (Ryan), Taylor and Tyler Cooksey of Lorain, OH.; his stepgrandchildren, Zaria Petty, A'Riya Blunt, Zavian Jackson and Ryan Jackson, Jr.; his godchildren, Darrel Smalls, Jr., Anthony Finley and Dasani Smalls of Lorain, OH.; and his siblings, Bessie, Carrie, Lula, Annie (Orlando), Robert (Cathy), Eddie (Rosalie), Alex (Ann), Promis (Denita) and George.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the TBD Original Glorious Apostolic Church (995 Foster Ave, Elyria, OH 44035). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Original Glorious Apostolic Church (995 Foster Ave, Elyria, OH 44035).
