Linda A. Ashenbach Obituary
Linda Ann Ashenbach,
Age 81, of Lorain, Ohio, died Friday October 31, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness. Linda was born in Lorain, Ohio on April 15, 1944 and was a graduate of Lorain St. Mary’s High School.
Linda achieved an Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education from LCCC and became a registered nurse at M.B. Johnson Nursing School.
Linda is survived by her brother Leonard Drabik, her daughter Kristen residing in Lorain and her son Kevin in Round Lake Heights, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband John Ashenbach, her brother Frank and by her parents Anna (nee Novak) and Frank Drabik.
Linda was a traditional Catholic and her heart was devoted to Jesus Christ. She loved her family immeasurably and cared deeply for her beloved dog Sushi. She was always there for her children and gave everything she had for them to achieve their dreams.
Linda's visitation is on Wednesday, Nov 5, 5-8pm at Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home at 3224 Broadway, Lorain, OH
The Requiem Mass is on Thursday, Nov 6, 10:30am at Shrine of St. Elizabeth of Hungary 9016 Buckeye Rd, Cleveland, OH
The Funeral/Burial will be at approximately 12:45 at Calvary Cemetery at 555 North Ridge Road, Lorain, OH
