He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Cordero; his parents, Luis Cordero and Benita Garcia; and his siblings, Catalina Cordero, Miguel Angel Alvarez and Roberto Cordero.
He is survived by: his sons, Jesus Cordero (Noemi), Roberto Cordero, Br. Ralph Cordero S. J. and Luis Cordero; his grandchildren, Jesús E. Cordero, Giselle Cordero and Yesenia Cordero; his great grandchildren, Elisamuel Colón Cordero, Yadiel Colón Cordero and Jesús Shediel Cordero; and his siblings, Harry Cordero (late Carmen), Adalberta Cordero, America Cuadrado (Carlos), Julio Cesar Cordero, Lydia Evans (late Paul Evans) and Osvaldo Cordero.
