He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Hennes, Sr. and Mildred Hennes; and his brothers, Michael T. Hennes and Robert "Spike" Hennes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "M. J."; his children, Richard W. Hennes, Jr. of McKinney and Nicole Hennes-Supers (Greg) of Amherst; his stepchildren, Marsha Visalden (Prieto) of Moore and Jeremy Hooker of Portland, Oregon.; and his siblings, Barbara McClure of Santa Rosa, Joan Whitman of Amherst, Gayle Andrijowych of Amherst, Judy Aguirre (Tony) of Lorain and Joseph N. Hennes, Jr. (June) of Avon Lake. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great grandchild, three step-grandchildren, two great step grandchildren.
