The passing of Robert A. Drop of Lorain, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Drop; his parents, Andrew S. Drop and Helen S. Drop; and his sisters, Mary Ann and Martha Jean Drop.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Smith (George) and Brian Drop (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Valerie Facemire (Mark Robison), Kylie Facemire, Abigail Smith, Katelyn Drop and Jason Drop; his great grandchildren, Myles, Samuel, Sadie Randolph, Rowan and Mark Robison, IV; and his siblings, Betty Jane Boone, Georgine Burkart (Bill) and George Drop. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel (3224 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44055). A prayer will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Nativity BVM Catholic Church (1454 Lexington Ave, Lorain, OH 44052).
