It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E Zocchi of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic P. Zocchi; her parents, Charles R. Minnich and Helen E. Minnich; and her siblings, Jeannene J. Shawver, Charles R. Minnich Jr., David R. Minnich, Michael G. Minnich, Mark S. Minnich, Paul Minnich and Mary Alice Sanchez.

She is survived by: her sons, Dominic A. Zocchi (Laura) of Lorain, Michael J. Zocchi of Lorain, Dean C. Zocchi (Jennifer) of South Amherst and Christopher D. Zocchi of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandson Dean Zocchi Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kylie and Connor Zocchi; and her siblings, Carolyn J. Breines of Elyria, Bruce F. Minnich (Cheryl) of Canton and Daniel T. Minnich (Karen) of Avon Lake.
