She was predeceased by: her son Edwin Morales; her parents, Jesus Marrero and Bienbenida "Benny"; and her brothers, Ramon Marrero and Filiberto Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her children, Rey Robles (Bonnie) and Hariklia (Jim); and her sister Carmen Berlingeri. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
